T.C. Maddison Memorial Trophy

Congratulations to John Reed in winning the T.C. Maddison Memorial Trophy at Garforth Golf Club today.
Garforth was in fact the 82nd course the Society has visited since its formation in 1991.
It was great to see the Captain drive off in his first event of the season although he will look back and say it wasn’t one of his best. But can say the pressure of Captaincy was hanging over his shoulder. I would like to express our thanks to TC Harrison {JCB] and MD Rob Wilson for kindly sponsoring the day.
Good to see a healthy turn out today and I am sure we all enjoyed the day.
We welcome new Member Steve Leachman to the Society and I am sure he will enjoy the company and banter as well as the golf.

The next fixture is 3 weeks today Tuesday 23rd May when the Annual Members Cup tales place at the L.G.C. Once again our friends at Just Audi VW are sponsoring the fixture. Tee off is at 2.04pm and at the conclusion of play we will have a buffet and presentations at the Anglers Hotel.
For those not present today can you confirm your availability by Sunday 14th May as we might need to book some more tee times.
